On Wednesday, Congress passed legislation to extend the application deadline for the Paycheck Protection Program until August 8, 2020.
On Wednesday, Congress passed legislation to extend the application deadline for the Paycheck Protection Program until August 8, 2020. The PPP still has $130 billion in available funds for small businesses.
While this program is far from perfect, numbers do matter; and, this program has undoubtedly helped save millions of businesses and jobs around the country. The state of Georgia alone has had more than 145 thousand PPP forgivable loans approved, totaling more than $14 billion during the second round of PPP funding.
