Rep. Barry Loudermilk (R-GA) announced that 11 students from Georgia’s 11th Congressional District have received nominations to attend one of our prestigious U.S. military service academies:
Rep. Barry Loudermilk (R-GA) announced that 11 students from Georgia’s 11th Congressional District have received nominations to attend one of our prestigious U.S. military service academies:
“Being accepted into one of our nations exceptional military academies is an achievement of a lifetime; and nominating students from Georgia’s 11th Congressional District to attend one of these academies is a responsibility my office takes very seriously. Despite the challenging times we’re in, and having to celebrate separately, I am so very proud of these students and what they will accomplish in the next few years. They are the leaders of tomorrow, and I’m confident they will represent our district with the utmost integrity.” Each year, members of congress are tasked with nominating students to attend our nation’s prestigious service academies. Appointees are awarded full four-year scholarships, which includes tuition, housing, and books.
