Rep. Loudermilk: Helpful Resources During COVID-19

During these challenging times, things are changing every minute, and it’s hard to determine fact from fiction. This is why I want to be sure you know about two important resources on my website to help you navigate through this time.
Dear Georgians,

During these challenging times, things are changing every minute, and it’s hard to determine fact from fiction. This is why I want to be sure you know about two important resources on my website to help you navigate through this time.

My “Help Americans” page and “Stop Coronavirus” page are designed to provide you with the most reliable, up to date information regarding the COVID-19 pandemic.

On the “Stop Coronavirus” page, you will find information on the virus itself, a Coronavirus hotline, treatment, testing, and much more. Much of this information is from the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and the Georgia Department of Public Health (DPH). You will also find information regarding Governor Brian Kemp’s ‘Shelter in Place’ order, county by county updates, scams, and how to donate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

On the “Help Americans” page, you will find information on the CARES Act, which was a historic stimulus package passed by Congress, designed to provide cash assistance to hardworking Americans and small businesses across the country. There is helpful information on the individual economic impact payments, filing for unemployment; and, if you are a small business, there are application forms for the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP).

Please feel free to share this information with family or friends; and, should you have questions about COVID-19 or the CARES Act, please feel free to reach out to my office. We certainly are #InItTogether, and we can make it through this crisis, and come out even stronger as Americans.

Sincerely,

Barry Loudermilk
Member of Congress
