  Press Release: Rep. Loudermilk: NDAA Includes Critical Military Resources Necessary to Combat China and Russia  
  Rep. Barry Loudermilk (R-Ga) issued the following statement after the House passed the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for fiscal year 2021:

“The NDAA has been the primary way Congress executes its Constitutional duty to provide our men and women in uniform with the tools, weapons, resources and support they need to effectively protect our nation. I am pleased to see Congress negotiate in a bipartisan manner and come to a consensus on an NDAA that provides our military with the defensive capabilities necessary to combat China and Russia’s growing influence around the world.

  In the News: Hunter Biden Says His Taxes Are Under Investigation  
  Wall Street Journal:

“Hunter Biden, the son of President-elect Joe Biden, said in a statement Wednesday that the U.S. attorney’s office in Delaware is “investigating my tax affairs,” putting his financial dealings in the spotlight, as his father builds his administration.

Hunter Biden said he takes the matter “very seriously” and is “confident that a professional and objective review of these matters will demonstrate that I handled my affairs legally and appropriately.”

The Justice Department declined to comment on Wednesday.

A spokeswoman at the U.S. attorney’s office in Delaware declined to comment, citing DOJ policy regarding ongoing investigations.”
