  In the News: Three new credits are available to many businesses hit by COVID-19  
  From the IRS:

The Internal Revenue Service today reminds employers affected by COVID-19 about three important new credits available to them.

Employee Retention Credit:

The employee retention credit is designed to encourage businesses to keep employees on their payroll. The refundable tax credit is 50% of up to $10,000 in wages paid by an eligible employer whose business has been financially impacted by COVID-19.

  In the News: GEMA/HS, DPH Distribute Largest PPE Shipment to Date  
  Governor Brian P. Kemp today announced the largest shipment of personal protective equipment to date has been distributed by the Georgia Emergency Management and Homeland Security Agency (GEMA/HS) in cooperation with the Georgia Department of Public Health (DPH).

“We know that protecting our frontline workers is critical to our success in the fight against COVID-19,” said Governor Kemp. “GEMA/HS and DPH are leaving no stone unturned to acquire and distribute PPE, and today’s shipment is reflective of the priority that we are placing on keeping these workers safe.”
