Military and Veterans

Our nation owes a tremendous debt to all who voluntarily risk their lives to protect our nation and fight for our freedoms. As a U.S. Air Force veteran, it is our primary responsibility to ensure that all those who have worn our nation’s uniform receive the best health care and benefits they have earned in a timely and consistent manner following service to our nation and receive swift assistance with navigating the vast government bureaucracy.

It is critical that Congress works diligently with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to improve their health care system and hold them accountable for government malfeasance. Our veterans deserve the best care and resources available to support them from active duty to civilian life; and, I will continue to find constructive solutions to support and maximize assistance for our nation’s heroes
