Rep. Barry Loudermilk (R-GA) issued the following statement after he received the ‘True Blue Award’ from the Family Research Council (FRC) for scoring 100 percent for votes in the past year, ranging from the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act to the Family Savings Act:
“The Family Research Council is a great organization that advocates for the bedrock values Americans hold dear such as family, faith, and freedom; and educates citizens on how their elected officials vote on important pieces of legislation. I’m humbled and appreciative of this award; though at the core of my decision making are simply the values instilled in me at a young age, which are grounded in my faith and our nation’s founding principles.”
