From the Marietta Daily Journal:  “Legislation designed to expand Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park has been approved in the U.S. Senate. The bill, which would add eight acres to the park, is sponsored by Republican Sens. Johnny Isakson and David Perdue. It was approved 92-8 as part of a public lands legislative package.” READ MORE
