  Rep. Barry Loudermilk (R-GA) issued the following statement after he joined forces with other conservative members in the House of Representatives condemning Speaker Pelosi and Chairman Adam Schiff for their handling of the impeachment inquiry:

“In the House of Representatives, there are rules and procedures upon which we govern. Speaker Pelosi, Rep. Schiff, and the rest of the House Democratic leadership continue to ignore the historical precedent set during the Nixon and Clinton impeachments and, clearly, are giving no respect to the rule of law.

'I think we should advance. I think we should seek innovation. I'm not opposed to some of the things that you're trying to do,'  said Rep. Barry Loudermilk (R-Ga.).

'I'm gravely, gravely concerned about the implications they may have, the operation of it, but I think we need to give it due consideration,' Loudermilk continued, adding Libra doesn’t “fit in a box.' "
