Press Release: Rep. Loudermilk to Introduce Bill to End Fed Unemployment Subsidy So America Can Get Back to Work

Rep. Loudermilk (R-GA) to introduce legislation to end the federal unemployment subsidy:

“So many small businesses in my area are at a breaking point. While they have seen a steady rise in business over the past few months, many are nearing or exceeding their capacity to serve their customers because of the critical shortage of workers and the escalating cost of goods and materials.   Press Release: Democrats Accuse Republicans of ‘Reconnaissance’ Tours Without Evidence; Republicans File Ethics Complaint and Urge Investigation into Member Misconduct
Rep. Barry Loudermilk (R-GA) issued the following statement after Republican members of the Committee on House Administration filed an ethics complaint with the House Committee on Ethics urging that an investigation be opened into the conduct of Representative Mikie Sherrill and 33 other Democrats for alleging – without evidence – that Members of Congress led reconnaissance tours of the United States Capitol on January 5, 2021.

“A Member of Congress accusing another Member of committing a crime, without evidence, is morally reprehensible and a stain on this institution. No Republican Member of Congress led any kind of ‘reconnaissance’ tours through the Capitol, proven by security footage captured by the U.S. Capitol Police.

“These thirty-four Members of Congress who willfully and gleefully levied these unsubstantiated accusations on television, radio, social media, and in the letter to Senate Sergeant at Arms, House Sergeant at Arms, and the United States Capitol Police, need to be investigated and be subject to the requisite consequences.
