  Rep. Barry Loudermilk (R-Ga) issued the following statement after he and his Republican colleagues wrote a letter to President Biden demanding answers about his administration’s involvement with social media companies to censor free speech:

“A great many Americans claim social media is the predominant source of their news. It doesn’t matter if you are Republican, Democrat, Libertarian or apolitical, you should be alarmed that the Biden Administration admitted they are working with social media companies to censor our free speech, thus undermining the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution.

Every year, millions of Americans turn to payday loans to cover emergency costs or their expenses when they fall behind, but those loans often come with hefty interest rates.

Congress is now considering a proposal to cap the annual percentage rate (APR) at 36 percent for all consumers.

This is already in effect for military members and their families.
