Military Academy Day was again greatly encouraging, as hundreds of young Georgians interested in serving our nation came together. Thanks to the entire Georgia Congressional Delegation for hosting this amazing event each year at Dobbins ARB.
Throughout the day, students and their families met with service academy representatives and asked questions about application timelines and the overall process. The representatives answered questions from behind their information tables and also stepped out into the crowd to talk individually with those congregated around the tables.

Press Release of the Week: Rep. Loudermilk Announces Career Expo for Veterans and Reservists
Rep. Loudermilk (R-GA) today issued the following statement to announce the first Georgia Congressional Career Expo for Veterans and Reservists:
“Our veterans and reservists put their lives on the line to protect the freedoms we all cherish. As a community, we should do what we can to provide them with meaningful employment opportunities when they get back home. This Expo will give our veterans and reservists a chance to bridge the gap between their military and civilian careers; and, at the same time, allow employers to meet and interview high-quality candidates. We hope to see many of you there.”
Rep. Loudermilk will be joined by some of his colleagues from Georgia’s Congressional delegation, including: Senator Johnny Isakson, Senator David Perdue, Rep. Karen Handel (GA-6), Rep. David Scott (GA-13), and Rep. Rob Woodall (GA-7).
