  In the News: Rep. Loudermilk Attends Change of Command Ceremony at Dobbins Air Reserve Base
 
  22nd Air Force:

Maj. Gen. Bret C. Larson took command of 22nd Air Force from Maj. Gen. John P. Healy during a ceremony at the Hangar 5, Dobbins Air Reserve Base, Georgia, July 10, 2021.

The ceremony was officiated by Lt. Gen. Richard W. Scobee, commander of Air Force Reserve Command and Chief of the Air Force Reserve.

Twenty-Second Air force is one of three numbered air forces in the Air Force Reserve Command. It’s a combat ready force comprised of more than 12,000 Reserve Citizen Airmen in 13 units at 30 locations across the U.S. Department of Defense.

  In the News: MLB All-Star Game Bombs in Ratings Again. Here's Why
 
  The Hill:

Major League Baseball's All-Star Game was once "appointment viewing" in this country. In 1980, more than 36 million people tuned in. In 2015, in the age of interleague play, a still-respectable 11 million watched the American and National Leagues battle it out.

But for Tuesday night's game, the Nielsen numbers were profoundly horrible: 8.24 million people tuned in, making it the second-least-watched All-Star Game in history.

  In the News: Some ballots Initially Double-Counted in Fulton Before Recount
 
  AJC:

A duplicate write-in vote for singer Kanye West was a big clue that some absentee ballots had been counted twice in Fulton County.

Digital ballot images made public under Georgia’s new voting law show nearly 200 ballots — including one for West — that election officials initially scanned two times last fall before a recount. There’s no indication any vote for president was counted more than once in official results.

  Rep. Loudermilk recently joined and cosponsored the following House Resolutions and letter:

House Joint Resolution 11 (Rep. Johnson, R-SD)
- This resolution proposes an amendment to the Constitution of the United States requiring that the Supreme Court of the United States be composed of only nine judges 

Letter to FDA Rep. Latta (R-OH)
- Expresses concern with FDA’s recent announcement easing restrictions on chemical abortion drugs
