  Business Brief: PPP Business Relief Funding Replenished
 
  Yesterday, I was in Washington, D.C. to vote in support of legislation to replenish the Small Business Administration’s popular Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) with $321 billion (see video below); and today, President Trump signed it into law.

On Monday, April 27, 2020, the Small Business Administration will resume accepting PPP loan applications. Please see the joint statement from Administrator of the U.S. Small Business Administration Jovita Carranza and U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven T. Mnuchin below.

As Economic Impact Payments continue to be successfully delivered, the Internal Revenue Service today reminds taxpayers that IRS.gov includes answers to many common questions, including help to use two recently launched Economic Impact Payment tools.

The IRS is regularly updating the Economic Impact Payment and the Get My Payment tool frequently asked questions pages on IRS.gov as more information becomes available.
