  In the News: Supreme Court blocks Biden OSHA vaccine mandate, allows rule for health care workers
 
  Fox News:

The Supreme Court on Thursday issued mixed rulings in a pair of cases challenging Biden administration COVID-19 vaccine mandates, allowing the requirement for certain health care workers to go into effect while blocking enforcement of a mandate for businesses with 100 or more employees.

The latter, an Occupational Safety and Health Administration rule that took effect on Monday, said that businesses with at least 100 employees needed to require workers to get vaccinated, or get tested weekly and wear a mask.

Sen. Kyrsten Sinema said Thursday that she will not vote to weaken the Senate's 60-vote filibuster threshold, bucking her party leaders yet again and dealing a major blow to Democrats' election reform effort.

The comments, which match Sinema's long-held stance on the filibuster, are effectively the final nail in the coffin of Democrats' longshot effort to pass two elections bills over unified Senate GOP opposition.

During Open Enrollment you can enroll in a health plan any time, or change to a different plan without any limitations based on plan category. Open Enrollment for 2022 runs Monday, November 1, 2021–Saturday, January 15, 2022. Enroll by December 15, 2021 and coverage starts January 1, 2022.

If you have certain life changes, like having a baby, getting married, moving, or losing health coverage, you may qualify for a Special Enrollment Period that allows you to get coverage any time outside of Open Enrollment, or during Open Enrollment, to get coverage that starts sooner than January 1 of the upcoming year.
